This session will teach the skill of identifying the preferred communication style and personality of others based on clues in behavior. Participants will learn techniques to adapt and more effectively convey their message to colleagues, clients, and people in their personal lives. If you are a manager or work on a team with a mix of different personalities, you will be provided the opportunity create profiles of others using this system and leave with specific steps to improve your working relationships. If your role requires influencing others, this session will expand your ability to influence those you currently find most difficult.

During the course of the program, we will encourage participants to consider the likely distribution of personalities within their own organizations and whether a diversity of perspectives is encouraged (or not). In addition, there will be discussion regarding the interplay between gender expectations and personality within the context of organizational and geographic cultures.

The workshop will be led by Rob Toomey, President of TypeCoach ( Rob has personally worked with more than 35,000 global leaders and salespeople over the last 14 years. In addition, more than 125,000 people have used the TypeCoach tools that support the session. This program is most frequently delivered for high-potential leaders, executives and salespeople within multi-national firms.

Participants will be expected to complete a 20 minute online program in advance to prepare them for the live session
Attendees will receive instructions on how to access to the TypeCoach communication system upon registration.
